The pharmacy was also featured in a WNYT News Channel 13 segment regarding the vaccination procedures and showcased the NYS Health Commissioner’s vaccination.
State Health Commissioner Dr. James McDonald received both the 2024-2025 COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines at Lincoln Pharmacy in Albany on Wednesday, October 9th. He urged all eligible residents to get vaccinated ahead of the respiratory illness season, highlighting the importance for vulnerable groups. Under the Affordable Care Act, most vaccines, including influenza, COVID-19, and RSV, are covered without cost-sharing when received at an in-network provider or pharmacy. Uninsured individuals can access vaccines for free through community health centers or local health departments. Vaccination remains the best way to prevent illness and reduce severe complications from these respiratory viruses.
